Your description of angels is based on the writing "On the Celestial
Hierarchy" by a 5th century author using the pseudonym of "Dionysius the
Areopagite" (and others who expanded on his themes). These writings are only accepted
by the Catholic Church (and only marginally), some cults, and various mystic organizations
(as you mention).
